Garage Door Spring Replacement in Salt Lake City
Having your garage door properly balanced is key to the life of your garage door and opener. Customers ask me, “Can’t you just throw on a spring or reuse a damaged or broken spring”. Unfortunately, any spring wouldn’t work for your door. Reusing a broken or old spring is never good practice. You never know when the spring will break again and if it is the correct strength for the door.
All springs come in different strengths and life. Our residential (7-8’ high doors) springs come with a standard 7-year warranty; longer life springs warranties can be purchased, ask your garage door tech for details.
After springs are installed the door must have a proper balance test completed to ensure the door is balanced properly. If you are unsure if the door is balanced properly give us a call and we would be happy to schedule an appointment for your Tune Up and inspection and safety check.
